Sports physicals are Tuesday, April 29th at CHMS. Packets are in the office and must be brought along with $15 on Tuesday. All students who participate in any CHMS sports the 2025-26 school year must have an approved physical form on file.
8th Grade Field Trip to ETSU is today, Friday, April 25!
All students must have a permission slip signed by an adult and adhere to Hawkins County Dress Code.
Students will need to bring money for lunch, as they will be stopping at the Johnson City Mall Food Court afterwards.
All students must stay with an adult at all times and all who attend the trip must return with the school (no sign-outs from parents).
We hope everyone has a great time!

Rural Health will be at CHMS on April 29 for sports physicals. Packets are in both offices. Students need a signed packet and $15 to be seen. Valid for next year’s sports/tryouts.
TCAP starts tomorrow! Testing is Tues–Thurs this week & next. Be sure students get good rest, eat breakfast, & arrive on time. Tardy students must wait in the office until testing ends. Testing will start after all buses arrive. Thanks for your support!

Public Notice - Our Private School and notice for disabilities meeting is scheduled for April 17, 2025 at 9:00A.M. at the Special Education Building, 200 North Depot St. Rogersville, TN.
The Hawkins County School District can receive designated funds each year by the federal government to provide service once agreed upon to students who are eligible to receive special education services. These services include students who are currently being homeschooled or attend a private school in Hawkins County and are eligible for Special Education. The Hawkins County district is required to meet with the administrators of private institutions or parents who are currently home schooling their children in order to discuss what services can be provided.
The Hawkins County School District can provide services for special needs children and young adults, age 3 years to 21 years, who reside within the system's district. If you have or know children who are currently not being served, please contact the Hawkins County Special Education Department at 423-272-7629 Ext. 2405
