Our Family Resource Center helps so many families and students within our community. They have a problem and need your help! Their shelves are almost totally empty. If their shelves are bare, they cannot help those in need. Please consider providing any amount of non-perishable food items to the FRC. While you are out this weekend, pick up a couple extra cans or boxes of those staples or even laundry detergent. You may drop them off at the FRC or contact April Couch at ext. 2056 or email April.couch@hck12.net for more information.
Hawkins County Schools will not have school on Monday, February 17, 2025 in observance of President’s Day. February 18, 2025 is a staff workday. We look forward to students returning to school on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Valentine candy grams will be sold tomorrow morning for $1. Buy one for a friend, a teacher, a staff member, or to take home for a family member.

‼️Bus Announcements‼️- Buses 25, 30, and 49 will not be running their afternoon routes today. Students who ride these buses will need to be car riders. Also, bus 27 will not be running its afternoon route either. However, bus 27 students will be picked up by bus 56. Please note, students may arrive home later than usual.
Join us this Friday, February 7nd for National Wear Red Day. Wear Red Day was established in 2004 to raise awareness and take action steps towards the American Heart Association’s goal of reducing death and disability from cardiovascular disease.
Bus 25 and bus 30 will not be running PM routes on Friday, Feb. 7th. Students who ride these buses will need to be car riders.
Bus 55 for HES, JRP, RMS, CHS will not run its morning or afternoon routes on Wednesday February 5th. Students will need to be car riders to and from school.
In honor of Principal Appreciation Day, HES is hosting a hat and glove drive.
