We just received notification that bus 8 will not be running this afternoon. All students who ride this bus will have to be a car rider.
In addition to today, bus 8 will also not run on Wednesday, Aug. 18 or Thursday, Aug. 19.
Correction: The book fair closes on Monday, September 16. Students will have an opportunity to visit if they want to make a purchase. Please note that FALL PICTURES will be taken on Thursday, September 19. We hope all Bearcats have a great weekend! Take care!

Next Thursday, September 12th, Hawkins County Schools will dismiss at 2:00 pm in preparation for Parent Teacher Conferences. Invitations will be sent home so that families may schedule a conference with their child's teacher(s).

In addition to ice cream, the HES Cafeteria will be offering other snack options that students may purchase during breakfast and lunch.
Single PopTarts may be purchased for .75 and 2-pack PopTarts for $1.25 during breakfast.
At lunch, students will have the option to purchase ice cream, rice krispy treats, chips, and assorted bakery items.
With the exception of ice cream, students may purchase items during their scheduled lunch time and save for snack time as long as the item is unopened.
**Students who wish to purchase snacks may add money to their account at http://www.myschoolbucks.com OR in the cafeteria during breakfast.
Bus Changes for Tuesday, August 20th:
Bus 30 and Bus 56 will not run its morning or afternoon routes on Tuesday August 20th. Students will need to be car riders, if they ride these buses.
