Hope and help are here! Find Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Mobile Units with free clothes and shoes: Tuesday, June 3, 10-2 at Cherokee High School and Thursday, June 5, 10-2 at Volunteer High School. All are welcome!



A bulk food bag will be available to parents and guardians of children ages 0 to 18, from 3pm to 5pm on Thursday, May 29th , June 5th, June 12th, and June 19th , at Joseph Rogers Primary and at Volunteer High School’s library entrance. Distribution will be on first come, first served basis until gone. Please do not arrive before 2:45pm due to summer school dismissal traffic. Please see the flyer on Hawkins County Schools website for details or call the Child Nutrition office at 423 272 2128.

Hawkins County Schools will be distributing meals to children ages 0-18 years on Thursday afternoons during Summer Learning Camp. You can visit Joseph Rogers Primary or Volunteer High School to pick up meals. This is a drive thru event.

5th Graders will be visiting RMS during the school day, with a Parent Night to Follow in the Evening @4pm. Please see the attached image for more details.


Our Annual 8th Grade Dance is on Friday, May 9th, from 6-8pm. The dance is for 8th-grade students and those invited from Rogersville Middle School only. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, May 1 in homeroom and during lunch.


Lady Warriors basketball tryouts will be held May 12th and 13th in the RMS gym from 3:30 - 5:00PM! In order to try out, athletes must have a physical for the 2025-2026 school year and have a teacher recommendation form filled out! This must be returned to Mrs. Gilliam before the tryout date.
