PreK Class project - Students read "Don’t Lose Your Class Goldfish" and made mini aquariums.
To end their unit on the five senses, Pre K students made slime and visited the “big” playground for the first time.
🍎🍏 Apple Week was so much fun! Kindergarteners explored whether apples sink or float, enjoyed a yummy apple taste test, and made our very own applesauce! 🥣❤️ So many fun ways to learn, explore, and celebrate apples! 🍎✨

Our Kindergarten students have been getting into the "swing" of things the past couple of weeks.
🎉 FIRST WEEK = COMPLETE! 🎉 What better way to wrap up the first week of school at Surgoinsville Elementary than with a little laughter, a lot of fun, and some seriously impressive inflatable fashion?! 😂🐝🦩🚀🐨 Our teachers have spent this week welcoming students, learning new names, establishing routines, building relationships, and filling our classrooms with excitement for the year ahead. And after a busy first week, we decided we deserved a little FUN, too! ❤️ If these pictures are any indication, this year is going to be one to remember! We may be tired, we may be hot, and we may have questioned some of our costume choices 😂…but we wouldn’t trade our SES family for anything! Week 1 is in the books! 🧡🖤 Here’s to a fantastic year of learning, laughter, memories, and plenty of reasons to smile. 🦅 It’s a GREAT day to be an EAGLE! 🦅
